Start the Year Right: 2014 Reading Resolutions!

Does this post still count as a New Year post? Hahaha. Kidding aside, let me ask a question. Being a bookworm or not, have you ever considered having bookish New Year's resolutions this 2014? If not, then read on! You might pick up some ideas from these resolutions I picked up from Fully Booked's 2014 Reading Resolutions. 

The classic. Why not double the number of your reading pile? Or twist things up a bit by setting a number for a certain genre. I have no genre in mind but I plan to read 24 books this year. (2 per month) 1/24

This one helps you know an author's style. I plan on focusing on Joseph Delaney this year. (The Last Apprentice series)

I was just arranging my bookshelf randomly so this'll help a lot. Maybe by author?

Seriously?! How about NO? Haha. Never!  

The MORE word should be omitted for me. I have never read a non-fiction book seriously before. Well, there's a first time for everything.

Probably, since the only free e-books are the Classic ones.  But I have never read a Classic seriously before. Just for school purposes like book reports. 

This I have to acomplish this year. I just want to stray from the mainstream books this year. But I have to admit, its hard to find a good non-mainstream book. 

Woah. A challenge. I like it. 

My most important Book Resolution of all! It'll take a huge effort for me to do this. But what the heck. Reading time is precious. Plans, shmans. I can read whenever I like, as long as I'm not busy. (talk about being stubborn)
