The House of Hades is Here!

I stink at blogging. Mainly because I rarely get to post on my blog. For instance, my last blog post was one month ago. Maybe that explains my one and only follower and less than 500 views since I started this blog. Poor me. xD

But enough chit-chat! I'll proceed to what I'm really writing about. Yes. This is it. The moment we've all been waiting for (well, the PJO fans anyway). THE HOUSE OF HADES HAS BEEN OFFICIALLY RELEASED! After a WHOLE YEAR of waiting, PJO fans all over the world can now get the next book of the Heroes of Olympus series by Rick Riordan. 

The House of Hades is the fourth book of the series, succeeding the previous book, The Mark of Athena. The fans of the book were left hungry for more after the very, should I say, controversial (XD) cliffhanger of the Mark of Athena. We've been waiting our butts off since the last book. Old Uncle Rick just had to come up with that stupid (but great) cliffhanger. 

I was surprised to see this dedication, although we really deserve the apology. Too bad he took it back on the second sentence. Oh, Rick. 

The book was released last October 8 and I was devoted enough to buy the book on the exact date. After school I quickly went to the nearest National Book Store. Although, I did encounter a problem. When I picked up the book, I was surprised to see that it was priced P489, although the past books were priced only P395 or P389. Being a true fanatic, I still bought it. But once I came home and went online on Facebook, the National Book Store posted that it was only P389. The comments were full of people complaining about the price. I also messaged their page, although I've had no replies until now (shame). But I read a comment that they are giving away refunds as long as you show them the receipt. Good thing I kept the receipt. But I haven't returned to that National Book Store branch to claim my refund until now. Haha. 

The book, as always, has a soft, smooth, velvety cover which I enjoy touching and feeling. xD The Mark of Athena is just a wee bit thicker than the House of Hades. And the cover is as good as always, with all those embossed letters and everything. 

So that's all for today! It'll probably take me another month again to publish a new blog post, but seriously, I promise to blog more. xD To all the PJO fans out there who still haven't gotten their copy, grab yours now! 

Almost forgot, the next book is ominously entitled The Blood of Olympus. Eerie (shudders).
